po powrocie do pracy/darmowe kursy na edx

Tak, wróciłam do pracy po macierzyńskim. Oficjalnie to już trzeci tydzień, tak na prawdę czwarty - wróciłam wcześniej na tzw. keeping-touch-days, bo po pierwsze i najważniejsze - zapłacą mi za to, a po drugie chciałam powoli przyzwyczaić dzieci do mojej nieobecności, więc zaczęłam od 3-5 godzin dziennie. Teraz już normalnie pracuję, a w domu póki co jest babcia. Od stycznia przedszkole waldorfsie dla Daniela (15h/tydz.), a Kacprem będzie się zajmować au pair Ania, która wydaje się być bardzo interesującą osobą, mam nadzieję że dobrze będzie nam się razem mieszkać.

Jak w pracy? Zaczęłam pełną parą, roboty tyle że nie mam czasu myśleć o tym jak dają sobie radę w domu. Na szczęście mój mąż może być teraz trochę z dziećmi, więc przynajmniej jeden rodzic daje od siebie więcej, kiedy drugi nie może.

W pracy zaczęłam od obróbki danych z porównania assignment(ów), nauczyłam się robić pivot tables w excelu, podszkoliłam trochę z PyMola, Unixa i próbuję z Pythonem, teraz jeszcze chwilowo wróciłam do ccpn i high pressure nmr.

Poza tym relaksacja mi się liczy. Staram się w pełni skupić na pracy - różnie to wychodzi. Dzisiaj uciekłam z mojego miejsca i pracuję w NMRowej piwnicy, bo tak tam gadają o głupotach że nie mogę ;) A rozprasza mnie to.

Zaczęłam 3 kursy na edx. Kursy są za darmo, można ewentualnie wykupić dyplom.

Target group

All who have preliminary knowledge about analytical chemistry, liquid chromatograpy and mass spectrometry.

Learning outcomes

The participant who has successfully passed the course knows: * the main performance parameters of analytical methods, what they show and which of them are particularly important in different situations; * the main mathematical concepts and tools in method validation; * the main approaches for evaluation of the performance parameters in the case of LC/MS analysis. The participant who has successfully passed the course is able to: * decide what data are needed for evaluating the different method performance parameters, understand the meaning of the available data and decide whether the available data are sufficient; * select the approach and design the experiments for obtaining suitable data; * quantify the relevant performance parameters using the available data and assess whether the obtained values are realistic; * assess the fitness of the method for the intended purpose based on the values of the evaluated performance parameters.

 Jest bardzo dużo miejsc w internecie, gdzie za darmo można zrobić jakiś kurs i otrzymać jakiś dyplom, certyfikat itp. Są różne rodzaje, jedne z kontaktem z osobą - np. profesorem z jakiejś uczelni, który sprawdza prace domowe i jakiś test na koniec (te są prowadzone w określonym czasie, od do), a inne dostępne non-stop sprawdzane w całości automatycznie (z testem wyboru).

Ja w tej chwili zapisałam się na dwa typy:

ten od 3.03 do 13.04.2014, ma 13 części, na końcu test i zaliczenia.

I zapisałam się też na 3 kursy na saylor.org , w tej chwili ta strona oferuje 316 kursów z różnych dziedzin, ja robię: Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, Spectroscopy. Trochę sobie powtórzę przed doktoratem, podszkolę angielski. Spektroskopia bardzo fajnie zrobiona, z odczytywaniem widm, póki co jestem zadowolona.
